Gay Social Perth is a real-world, members-only social club for meeting LGBTQIA+ people in person. No apps. No awkward walk-ins. Just curated events, good energy, and plans you actually want to show up to.
Think big gay group dinners, drag brunch meet-ups, WLW rooftop drinks, queer coffee catch-ups, run club, camp Friday knock-off drinks, LGBTQIA+ book clubs and more. Sometimes we host our own exclusive events. Sometimes we book a table or space at bigger events and go together. We go where the vibe is, or we make the vibe!
Our community is intentionally and purposely mixed ages, mixed genders, and mixed sexualities, with members ranging from 18 years old right through to 78! Everyone’s here for the same reason: to meet people, make friends, and have a social life that actually feels fun.
And yes, almost everyone comes solo. That’s the point. It creates a genuinely welcoming community where people look out for new faces, because we’ve all felt those first-event nerves. It’s usually about 15 minutes of feeling awkward… followed by a stack of new queer friends.
Every event is host-led. Before you go, you’ll be introduced to your host so when you arrive, you know who you’re looking out for, and there’s already someone there to welcome you and bring you into the group. Whether it’s your first event or your fifteenth, you’re never walking in alone.

Very occasionally, a third-party ticketed event may apply (for example, a concert or show). These are rare and always clearly communicated in advance.
