Let’s be real – making new friends as an adult can be really f**king hard.

In addition, there’s a stigma (that’s more often than not entirely in our own heads) around trying to make new friends as an adult being ‘lame’…what’s up with that?!

At LESGO, we’re changing that entirely – making it easier to find new queer friends, and cancelling the ‘lame’ mentality around it.

Whether you have one friend (Hi Mum!) or 101 friends (ideally Dalmatians) we know that there will be random spontaneous nights where everyone is busy, but you’re still keen to check out the latest cheesy rom-com at the cinemas, sink a few pints at drag bingo at the local gay bar and/or grab tickets to a last-minute queer gig…but who do you go with?

Let’s be honest, traditional dating apps are nothing short of a bin fire.

Seriously, how many of us have created a dating profile on one of the major dating apps, committed at least an entire night to swiping through profiles, just to end up with a series of matches with people who are looking for completely different things to you, or worse, end up with a string of ‘Hey, how’s it going?’ type texts that never enventuate into a real-life plan. The worst.

On LESGO’s ‘Dates’ mode, you’ll only see other users who are active on the ‘dates’ mode, meaning those looking for something more casual fun or friends won’t be thrown into the mix.

We’re about empowering the LGBTQIA+ community to find connections that suit their lifestyle, and know that for a lot of people, that includes casual and spontaneous encounters.

At LESGO, we know that sexual wellness is an important part of life, and not at all something taboo or to be kept unspoken.

Thus, we’ve created the ‘Right Now’ mode, to allow users to find other users looking to meet local gays, theys and other LGBTQI+ lovey-lays who are also looking to meet right now, for a little, shall we say ‘fun’.

In this mode, users will only see other LESGO users who have been actively online within the last two hours, who are also using the ‘Right Now’ mode.

Conversations in this mode will expire two hours after chat inactivity, adding that user back into the user deck for next time they’re online, all to encourage faster conversations, in the effort to make IRL (in real life) meets acctually happen!

Match with someone in the ‘Right Now’ mode that you don’t want to loose?  If you both mutually ‘favourite’ each other, your match will never expire – wholesome right?!

Let’s be real – making new friends as an adult can be really f**king hard.

In addition, there’s a stigma (that’s more often than not entirely in our own heads) around trying to make new friends as an adult being ‘lame’…what’s up with that?!

At LESGO, we’re changing that entirely – making it easier to find new queer friends, and cancelling the ‘lame’ mentality around it.

Let’s be honest, traditional dating apps are nothing short of a bin fire.

Seriously, how many of us have created a dating profile on one of the major dating apps, committed at least an entire night to swiping through profiles, just to end up with a series of matches with people who are looking for completely different things to you, or worse, end up with a string of ‘Hey, how’s it going?’ type texts that never enventuate into a real-life plan. The worst.
